7:52 pm	because She asked... LJ Interests meme results candles: fire, fun shapes, scents, and have you ever played with molten wax? so much fun... douglas adams: what can I say? the guy is funny. Though I have to say that the end of the 5 part hitchikers trilogy was not my fav. food: I love to eat and I love to cook. honesty: if you aren't honest, why bother saying anything at all? legends: legends are often based in fact. that makes them fun. they are also windows into how people think. that makes them more fun. middle ages: hmmm... if it weren't for the fleas and the plagues I think it would be interesting to live then. I have to say that I am sorry a lot of the handcrafts that were common then have fallen into disuse today though. poe: "quoth the raven, nevermore" renfest: I work them and I play at them. good enough for me. Oh the things you see sometimes. storms: I love the boom and crash, and the lights shows are great. traveling: Meet new people, see new things, eat things you never thought you would put in your mouth. how much fun is that? 9:53 pm	the end of Michigan... Well, that was it. The end of my first ever season of participation in the Michigan Ren Faire. Goodbye hollygrove. It was nice to be able to play for at least one day. Though I think that I got in about another day worth of play time over the course of the other weekends that I was there. It would have been nice to be able to play another day, but I can't argue too hard with a little more money. Hopefully I will be able to come back next year too. Anyway, there are still 2 more shows left in the Faire schedule at good old Leather Lore (www.leatherlore.com) and then I get at least one more weekend of play time at Ohio Ren Faire. (making the assumption all goes according to plan.) Incidently, don't you hate it when something doesn't quite work out between you and another person you rather like? All for happening to live on the wrong side of the state. At least mostly anyway. more later maybe... (Comment on this)

9:33 pm	first postings and learning about this place... Well, I guess here it is, my first post in Livejournal. Not really sure yet what to put here, but I guess I will figure it out. anyway, my name is Jesse, (Hi Jesse) and I am, well, I am not sure what I should call myself. I am a leatherworking rennie blacksmith with chef-like leanings, and a desire to be a doctor someday. I make chain maile, wish I had money to continue college, and want to eventually learn something of every major art form. perhaps after some more posts and thought, I will figure out what to call myself. so what do you call yourself?
